Should I Quit CAT 2017 - CAT is most coveted exam which is to be held by IIM on December 4, 2017 in two slots for the registered candidates. CAT 2017 will be conducted in 135 cities across the country for admissions to different management programmes. After qualifying CAT 2017, candidates can take an admission either at IIMs or other B-schools. In this article candidates can know whether they should quit CAT or not.

Candidate must know CAT 2016 syllabus. I hope each and every candidate will aware of CAT 2017 syllabus. As per CAT 2017 Syllabus there will be three sections namely: Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DA & LR), Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VRC).

Since, CAT 2017 is most coveted exam for MBA and most of the students are appearing first time for CAT so it is possible that they have a phobia to face the exam. Q. Should I leave the job for CAT Preparation?
If you are doing good and repudiated job and you are satisfied with your job or you are government employee then I will advise you to not to leave your job BUT if you want to make your careers in management and you have ability to take risk and you can crack CAT then you can leave your job.
As per topper’s and expert’s advice candidates should start their preparation before 12 month of the exam. Make the time table first and study regularly for 3 to 4 hours.

Q. Should I join coaching Institutes?
It’s myth to join CAT coaching institutes. In the world of Internet all the tutorials, tips, CAT Videos are available online. There is no need to join any coaching institute even IIM also release CAT Mock Test for the CAT aspirants. If you are joining then rely on yourself, ask your queries and try to solve problems by your own first.

Q. I am not ready for CAT Exam, what should I do?
This situation occurs due to lack of confidence. Don’t start new topics in the last month just revise whatsoever you have learnt till the November month. Candidates are advised to read their notes. Don’t make your notes for exam day only. Solve sample paper, take mock test and yes, you can crack. Don’t underestimate yourself.

Q. I have not started preparation yet, how can I crack CAT?
If you have not started your preparation for CAT 2016 then you are advised to take the exam but start your preparation for next year. But take CAT 2016 this year which will help you for CAT 2017 preparation.

Q. Should I quit CAT?
Should I Quit CAT is worst question because candidate must not lose their hope in any case. If you have not started preparation yet just read important topics to crack CAT. Candidates can check their performance by taking CAT 2016 mock test. The mock test is dummy test by which candidates can know how much percentile can be gotten in CAT 2016.

CAT 2017 Result: IIM will announce the result of CAT for the candidates who will appear in CAT 2017. The result of CAT will be announced in the month of January, 2017.

CAT 2017 Cutoff: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of result, CAT cutoff, GD-PI and their work experience. The IIMs have announced the CAT Cutoff 2017. Candidates can take an idea of selection.
