CAT 2017 – IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) conducts Common Admission Test (CAT), an entrance exam to be conducted for management programmes admission under different NITs, IIM, IIT and other Government and non IITs in India. The CAT 2017 exam will be conducted in the last week of November month. Approximately 2 lakh candidates will appear in the Common Admission Test 2017. This year CAT 2017 is conducting for 19 IIMs and hundreds of other B-schools.
CAT Eligibility Criteria 2017 – Before applying for CAT 2017 candidates must
know whether they are eligible for CAT 2017 or not. As per the eligibility
criteria of CAT 2017 defined by official body, candidate must have Bachelor’s
Degree, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA for general category and 45%
for SC/ST/DA/PWD categories. Final year candidates can also apply for the CAT
2017.

CAT Application Form 2017 – Only eligible candidates can apply for CAT
2016. Candidates can fill application form for CAT 2017 only in online mode.
The registration for CAT 2016 will start in the first week of August
(tentatively). The official dates will be announced in the month of July, 2016.
The CAT application form 2017 fees for general category and OBC is Rs.1600 and
Rs.800 for ST/SC/DA/PWD candidates.
Steps to Register for CAT 2017
- Candidates have to create a Profile (please fill real details)
- Enter Login ID and Password (must save your user id and password in your notebook)
- Submit your application form of CAT 2017 after entering details with correct spelling and making online payment the exam.

CAT 2017 Admit Card/Hall Ticket: CAT aspirants will be able to download their
admit card of CAT 2017 as and when it will be released by official body. The
official body will send the CAT 2017 admit card to the registered candidates.

Time Management – The most important task is to manage
the time. Make your day wise time table and start your preparation for CAT 2017

Improvise on Weak Areas – Point out your weak areas and do lots of practice for the same.

Speed and Accuracy – Work on Speed and
accuracy. With the speed and accuracy candidates can attempt all the questions
with the given time slot.

Fast Calculation – Try to calculate fast. Use shortcuts
and do more and more practice.
·
Attempt Easy Questions First – Candidates are
advised to solve easy question first. This helps to boost the confidence level
in the examination hall.

Zero Pressure – Don't push yourself too hard. Just
relax and focus on your study. Don’t forget, your target is CAT 2017.

Mock Test – Try more and more mock test. Most of
Toppers’ advice is to use mock test. Candidates have options to do practice
online for CAT 2017.
